Crews Friday worked on demolishing buildings on a property that previously housed General Electric Co. and BAE Systems.

Wrecking permits for the General Electric Co. property at 2000 Taylor St. indicate the demolition plans affect multiple structures, including the main warehouse and a boiler house.

Brandenburg Industrial Service Co. is performing the work.
