CANTON ( 25News Now ) - A roof collapsed after multiple crews battled a fire for nearly three hours on Friday.

According to the Canton Public Information Officer Edward Glad, firefighters responded to White Court in between Elm and Pine Street just after 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

Upon arrival, crews noticed smoke and fire coming from the second and third floor of the White Court building. While crews were working to extinguish the fire, a section of the roof gave way.

The building houses the Odds and Ends Resale store.
