KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WBAY) - Kaukauna Utilities is looking to address the issue of hard water for thousands of residents through a brand-new project.
Many filtration systems in Kaukauna get rid of natural minerals within the water for homes and business owners like Stacey Hummell.
“It isn’t great for pipes or dishes or hair or skin or the glass on my shower, to be honest. So, we’re constantly, constantly cleaning our water stains off of everything pretty much,” says Hummell, who owns Sweet Treats Candies and Sweets.
As of Wednesday, Kaukauna Utilities announced a new means of addressing this issue called the Reverse Osmosis Project.
