A Brockton man accused of stabbing his partner to death in July has been indicted by a grand jury on a charge of murder.

Reynald Biamby , 44, was indicted by a Plymouth County grand jury on Friday for killing 36-year-old Rose Lacroix of Mattapan, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

The killing happened before 4:15 a.m. on July 1, at 341 Centre St., the office said. First responders found Lacroix dead at the scene and Biamby with injuries, and Biamby was brought to a hospital for treatment.

Biamby was interviewed by law enforcement at the hospital and told officers that he and Lacroix had gotten into a verbal argument, the office said, which escalated when she stabbed him with a knife.
