A Massachusetts judge is weighing whether Lindsay Clancy , the Duxbury mother accused of killing her three children, should be transported to court in a sheriff’s van or a medically equipped ambulance.
It’s a decision that pits security concerns against state mental health laws and federal disability protections that Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, argues she has a right to.
And in a motion filed by Reddington on Friday, he seeks records from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s office regarding its plan to transport Clancy to court for her July 2026 trial.
Reddington has criticized the sheriff’s office and suggested it would be more prudent for his client, who is currently held without bail and committed to Tewksbury State Hospital, to be brought by ambulance to the courthouse.
