WAUKESHA, Wis. (WKOW) -- Gov. Tony Evers ordered the flags of Wisconsin and the United States to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Friday.

Four years ago, on November 21, 2021 , six people were killed at a Waukesha Christmas parade, and dozens more were injured.

The man convicted in the attack is serving more than six life sentences .

On Friday, a new memorial was dedicated in Waukesha to remember the tragedy.

According to our Milwaukee affiliate WISN , it was sculpted by nationally known TV host and artist Carmen De La Paz, who grew up in Waukesha.

The sculpture is called Holding Love, a design created six months after the tragedy.
