SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- Sun Prairie police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing man believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Police say 76-year-old Bruce Scott Johnson is 5'10", 240 lbs. with blue eyes, gray hair and glasses.

He was last seen Friday at 5:30 p.m. on Cedar LN in Sun Prairie, wearing a dark green winter coat and dark blue sweatpants.

Police say he left his daughter's address and was supposed to be heading to his home in Sun Prairie.

At 7:55 p.m. he purchased gas in Ashippun, WI at a BP. He is driving a 2013 silver Hyundai Sonata, WI license plate number 326LJN. He does not have his phone with him.
