HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A beloved Hazard restaurant owner died at Hazard ARH on Friday.
Frances Napier, owner of France’s Diner, served customers home-cooked meals for decades.
For many years her restaurant was along Combs Road in Airport Gardens but she moved closer to downtown Hazard in 2022. It was one of several businesses that was flooded in February but they re-opened later in the year. WYMT interviewed her many times through the years. The last time was in August.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
Frances Napier was 85.
