Lowville football’s streak of toppling dynasties came to an end in Friday’s regional clash with Tioga of Section IV.

Just one week after knocking off four-time defending sectional champion Dolgeville , the Red Raiders were unable to do the same to the Class D powerhouse Tigers in a 28-14 loss.

“They were very good up front,” Lowville coach Josh Coffman said. “They block really well, they execute well and we had trouble getting them off the field.”

Lowville entered the bout with an unblemished 11-0 record and double-digit margins of victory in each of its three sectional playoff games.
