MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The doors to the new $10 million Construction & Remodeling Facility officially opened this week at Madison College, school officials announced.
Located at Truax North Campus, the 30,000-square-foot facility is built for students to gain hands-on learning and elevate training opportunities.
The new facility features two large workshops for training in roof framing, siding, insulation and green building demonstrations.
This space marks a major milestone for Madison College’s Construction & Remodeling program after relocating from their Commercial Avenue campus.
At the ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Dr. Beth Giles said this building represents more than bricks and motor.
“It represents opportunity, innovation, and our unwavering commitment to student success
