WASHINGTON — Dozens gathered outside D.C. Police Headquarters Friday night demanding justice and accountability following the recent deaths of three men in encounters with law enforcement.
Several groups helped organize the vigil and rally including Harriet's Wildest Dreams and Free DC.
"It's unfortunate that we're here because… nothing has changed but the year and the day," Neenee Taylor, the co-founder of Harriet's Wildest Dreams and Free DC .
Taylor told WUSA9 they were taking a stand "because three Black bodies were snatched by state sanctioned violence."
