FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A Herndon woman is in police custody after she allegedly stabbed her mother to death at her home in the McNair area.
Fairfax County Police responded to the scene in the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard around 10 a.m. on Tuesday after a caretaker arrived at her patient’s home and found her unresponsive.
When they arrived, police say they found 79-year-old Norma Little. Police say she had stab wounds in her upper body. She was declared dead at the scene.
According to police, their investigation — which included interviews and video review — led them to 31-year-old Helena Little.
Police arrested Helena Little on Thursday around 3 p.m. after finding her in the 1800 block of Metro Center Drive in Reston. She was taken to jail, where she is being held without bond
