Avoid the Area: ‘Incident’ under investigation near Basehor

BASEHOR, Kan. (KCTV) - Residents have been urged to avoid the area near the Basehor-Linwood High School as an “incident” remains under investigation.

The City of Basehor urged residents to avoid the area of 156th and Parallel Rd. as investigators look into an incident.

The Basehor Police Department and Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office are on scene and investigating.

Little information has been provided about the situation; however, the incident is located just outside the Basehor-Linwood High School.

Parents at the high school for a Friday night football game called KCTV5 to report that they had not been allowed to leave the stadium.
