Florida State football (5-6, 2-6) once again found a different way to lose in the worst fashion on the road. In that, the Seminoles fall to North Carolina State (6-5, 3-4).
The Seminoles remain winless on the road at 0-4 and will have to beat their rival, Florida, at Gainesville to capture their sixth win and be bowl eligible.
The Seminoles struggled across three phases, with untimely penalties, missed opportunities to put points on the board, and, to put the icing on the cake, special-team miscues, which were the turning point of the game.
QB Tommy Castellanos finished the night completing 16 of his 32 passes for 203 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions.
