Huma Qureshi made a smashing Bollywood debut with Anurag Kashyap’s gangster drama Gangs of Wasseypur. Talking about the good old days, Huma Qureshi recalled her first encounter with the filmmaker and, while speaking in a fresh interview, revealed how much she was paid for her debut film.

In an interview with the Indian Express, Qureshi recalled, “Gangs of Wasseypur changed my life. I was this young Delhi girl. I went for the ad shoot, and I was wearing a lot of makeup, the amount one should wear for advertisements. Anurag Kashyap pointed at my face and asked me, ‘What is this?’ I was in my own attitude and I told him, ‘Mera dasva ad hai, aapka pehla hai (It’s my tenth ad, might be your first).’
