ATLANTA — Federal agents arrested two men and seized 21 kilograms of fentanyl, enough to kill millions of people, in the last major federal takedown of illegal drug operations in Georgia.
This latest mission happened last Friday in Forest Park, Ga., U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, Theodore Hertzberg said. Agents recovered $360,000 in cash, the drugs and weapons, which were displayed at a news conference in Atlanta. Two men, Rico DeVille Bice and David Estevan Montillo Diaz, were arrested.
The bust was the latest by the newly organized Atlanta Wilhelm Homeland Security Task Force, created by the Trump Administration, to eliminate cartels, international gangs and criminal organizations across Georgia.
