LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Men’s Basketball defeated Kansas State 86 to 85 to win the Hall of Fame Classic Tournament. Nebraska now has won 10 straight games dating back to last season.
The Huskers were tied with the Wildcats until Sam Hoiberg was fouled with one second left in the game. He made the first free throw to give Nebraska a 1 point lead and eventually the win.
Pryce Sandfort led the way scoring 21 points connecting on 5 three-point shots. Rienk Mast added 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Nebraska is now 6-0 this season and next play Winthrop at home on Nov. 25, 2025.
