Shreyas Iyer is vice-captain of India’s ODI team, but he is out of action these days due to an injury that he suffered while fielding during the third India-Australia ODI in Sydney last month. The Mumbai-based right-handed batter is unlikely to be picked for the three-match ODI series against South Africa starting November 30 in Ranchi, and if reports are to be believed, then he is set to remain on the sidelines for at least three more months.
