Bhubaneswar: Congress MLA in Odisha Sagar Charan Das alleged that some unidentified persons have issued threat to his life after assaulting one of his aides.

The legislator, who is the son of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Bhakta Charan Das, claimed that around 4-5 unknown people sought to know about his whereabouts after approaching one of his acquaintances on Thursday evening, ADVERTISEMENT

Das, who represents Bhawanipatna in the Assembly, lodged a complaint before Director General of Police (DGP) Y B Khurania, seeking action against the miscreants.

“It is unfortunate that one of my known people and zone head in Kalahandi district was assaulted & threatened by unknown miscreants with dire consequences to reveal my whereabouts & issued a threat to my life as well,”
