HADDONFIELD — Daniel "Bear" Williams fit through the hole.

This was after the game, when Camden's sophomore lineman — all 6-foot-4, 350 pounds of him — waded through a small group surrounding Panthers quarterback Ahmad Jones.

Williams made it through, managing to give Jones a well-deserved pat on the shoulder pads, offering the senior QB congratulations for a terrific game.

Jones, all smiles, had just ran and passed Camden to a satisfying 37-18 victory over Haddonfield in the NJSIAA Group 2 Semifinals, and Jones swore "it's only going to get better."

"It feels great," Jones said. "I can't wait. I'm excited. I'm fired up. This is my first state championship and I'm ready."
