LOS ANGELES — Mick Cronin might not believe in messages, but his decision to shake things up certainly worked.
One game after the UCLA men’s basketball coach switched out four-fifths of his starting lineup , the Bruins responded with their most complete game of the season in an 86-46 victory over Presbyterian on Friday night. The Bruins went back to their normal starting five aside from leading scorer Tyler Bilodeau, who missed the game after spraining his left knee in practice the day before.
Redshirt sophomore Brandon Williams stepped in for his first start of the season, finishing with a season-high 11 points and seven rebounds. Skyy Clark led all scorers with 22 points, his highest scoring total over 39 games at UCLA. He shot 9 for 11 from the field after making his first six.
