MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - Two men are dead after a crash involving a Transpo bus on Friday evening in Mishawaka.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. at Grape Road and Imus Drive.
Police say the bus was heading north on Grape when a southbound car lost control and hit the front-left side of the bus.
The driver and passenger of the car died at the scene. Police say the driver of the bus was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police believe one passenger was on the bus at the time of the crash, but they reportedly left the scene before first responders arrived.
Grape Road remains closed between White Oak Drive and Imus Drive.
