McKINNEY -- Senior Jeremiah Daoud threw for 240 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 43 yards and another score to lead the Allen football team to a 41-7 victory over Lake Highlands in a Class 6A Division I area playoff game at McKinney ISD Stadium on Friday night.

The Wildcats (9-3) drove the ball 65 yards on the game’s opening offensive possession but turned the ball over on downs when the Eagles stopped running back Christian Rhodes on a fourth-and-one rush up the middle at the 10-yard line.
