Netflix is set to add a drama film based on Amy Koppelman's novel of the same name on November 29, with the streaming platform well-known for its collection of highly-praised book adaptations.

The movie features Sarah Silverman as an upper-middle-class wife and mother battling mental health issues and substance abuse. Silverman's portrayal of Elaine "Laney" Brooks received widespread acclaim when the film was first released in 2015.

The actress earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at the 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards the following year.
