In 1911, Woldt Farms in Brillion became a reality. Now in its fourth generation, it has grown beyond expectations.
Daryl and Amy Woldt took over the farm from his parents, Hugo and Jeanette Woldt, in 1990, and they set their sights on new avenues of development. Over time, the original herd of 80 cows expanded to 1,550 cows and 1,000 heifers. In 1998, they formed an LLC, and later added two more businesses — Woldt Harvesting LLC and W&W Bagging LLC.
As the businesses grew, so did their family. They had five daughters— Kelsey, Kayla, Kristen, Karly and Kortney — who all grew up helping on the farm. Kortney, the youngest, was at UW-Stevens Point majoring in ag business with a minor in soil science when she had a clear vision of what she wanted to do after graduation.
