Lyricist and writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla spoke to a packed audience on Day 2 of Sahitya AajTak 2025, held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi. Muntashir brought both humour and introspection to the stage as he reflected on his struggles, inspirations, failures and the craft of writing. He also declared the orginality is a myth. The session was moderated by journalist Shweta Singh.
Describing his early days in Mumbai, Muntashir said, “I literally struggled in the rain wearing torn shoes. Once I was scolded at a production house. Today the same producer is a friend, and we’ve done several films together.”
