Lucchese Bootmaker, a heritage brand with deep roots in El Paso, is in the spotlight as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders prepare to wear custom boots for the annual “My Cause, My Boots” game.

Handmade at Lucchese’s El Paso factory, the boots will feature colored stars representing causes chosen by each cheerleader. The initiative, set for Sunday, Nov. 23, during the Cowboys’ matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium, highlights personal advocacy and community impact.

Cheerleaders will use their custom boots to raise awareness for issues including pregnancy and infant loss, domestic violence, food insecurity and heart health.
