BEDFORD – An improbable touchdown catch breathed some life into the Fort Worth Eastern Hills side of Pennington Stadium early into Friday’s second quarter, only for the Celina football team to counter with one of its most overwhelming scoring surges of the season.
The top-ranked Bobcats answered the Highlanders’ lone score of the first half with 36 unanswered points to pace a 49-8 halftime lead and, ultimately, a 70-22 victory in the area round of the Class 4A Division I playoffs.
