Coventry City battled back from two goals down against West Bromwich Albion to strengthen their grip at the top of the Championship

Josh Eccles, Ellis Simms and Victor Torp overturned an opening double from Aune Heggebo at the CBS Arena where the Baggies were reduced to ten men early in the second half when Jayson Molumby was sent off for a second yellow card.

Heggebo gave Albion the lead as early as the ninth minute when he side footed home from seven yards out from a Mikey Johnston cross from the right amid poor defending from the Sky Blues.

Despite attempting to get back on level terms when Torp clipped the crossbar, the Baggies doubled their lead just after the half hour mark with an almost identical goal down the right, this time from a counter attack – Johnston again feeding Hegge
