Two people have died following a crash in south Phoenix, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department said the two-vehicle crash happened on Nov. 22 at around 1:40 a.m. near Central Avenue and Baseline Road.
Police said the crash happened when "suspect" driver sped through a red light and hit the second vehicle. Both cars caught fire.
Two men in the second car died at the scene. The driver of the suspect vehicle was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
A Phoenix PD patrol unit was nearby when the crash happened, according to police.
