What you need to know about this weekend's weather
Saturday (November 22) started with wet and windy weather, but conditions will brighten through the afternoon with winds easing. The Met Office says it will feel a little less cold than recent days, with highs around 8C and a 'feels like' temperature of 7C.
Tonight is forecast to stay mostly dry across the North West, though heavy and blustry showers are expected to return by early Sunday morning (November 23). Overnight temperatures will dip to around 3C.
Sunday is forecast to be unsettled, with showers and spells of heavier, persistent rain moving in to Greater Manchester from around 5am, according to Met Office weather maps.
Cloudier skies will make it feel chilly, despite temperatures returning to average for this time
