A 13-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died.

Police said the teenager was detained following an incident on Friday, November 21.

Officers were responding to reports of disorder inside a house when they found a woman was not breathing.

The woman, in her 50s, was living at the address, police said. There were no other reported injuries.

Police confirmed the woman was declared dead at the scene in Baydon Close, Moredon, Swindon.

Her next of kin had been informed.

A police cordon remained at the property while enquiries were carried out to establish the full circumstances around her death.
