Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren will play against the Chicago Bears after practicing fully on Friday and being removed from the injury report without a designation.

Warren missed the rest of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals after playing just one snap following his second half ankle injury. With that in mind, he was questionable heading into the week, but is now a full go.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said that Warren was cleared to return to the game, but they chose to hold him out after seeing how well Gainwell was playing.

“I could have (returned), but it was part of being smart,” Warren said. “We got a lot of games ahead of us, so they’re looking out for me.”
