A Scottish father is currently in a coma in Turkey after suffering a heart attack while on holiday.

Peter McMahon, from Glasgow, experienced cardiac arrest in the early hours of Wednesday morning on November 19. His heart reportedly stopped beating for a staggering 70 minutes.

The 52-year-old father of five had jetted off to the resort of Antalya on November 14 for a week-long winter getaway.

His distraught daughter Teigan has flown out to be at her father's hospital bedside . She revealed to the Record that he is being "kept alive by machines
