COLUMBUS, Ohio — The second bye week of the season treated Rutgers well.

The Scarlet Knights (5-5, 2-5) have multiple players back for Saturday’s meeting against No. 1 Ohio State (10-0, 7-0) at Ohio Stadium on Saturday (noon, FOX).

Reserve safety Chris Joines, who missed the last five games, and true freshman wide receiver Jourdin Houston are not listed on the pregame availability report submitted to the Big Ten, meaning they will be available for the contest.

Both players could factor on special teams.

Head coach Greg Schiano said earlier this week that his team could get “one or two” players who have missed multiple games but have not been ruled out for the season back.

“We have to see how they progress during the week,” Schiano said.
