La Voix has had to make the heartbreaking decision to step back from Strictly Come Dancing after suffering an injury.

The performer shared her devastating news hours after she told fans it was a 'sad day' to be missing out on the famous Blackpool week.

La Voix is believed to have suffered a serious foot injury, with the Drag Race icon planning on initially missing a week as it is understood she had a place guaranteed for the following show, the Mirror reports.

Opening the show in Blackpool tonight, host Tess Daly said: "As you may have heard, La Voix sustained an injury meaning she can't dance in Blackpool and following medical advice from our team, we can now confirm that she has had to withdraw from the competition."
