The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for fog covering parts of Greater Manchester overnight. Forecasters are warning dense fog could lead to 'difficult travelling conditions'.

The warning covers most of Stockport and parts of south Manchester and Trafford . It also covers North, East and South Yorkshire, the East Midlands and Birmingham.

The warning runs until 7am tomorrow (Sunday). It reads: "Fog patches will develop fairly widely on Saturday night and early Sunday morning, becoming dense in places leading to difficult travelling conditions. Visibility should improve from west to east overnight, with fog clearing from most areas by dawn Sunday." View 2 Images
