MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Though a 46-26 state quarterfinal-round playoff loss to Section 1 champion Sleepy Hollow on Saturday at Faller Field ended Saugerties High’s dreams of winning a state football title, Sawyers’ sophomore quarterback Michael Gramoglia believes the 2025 season is just the beginning of good things to come in future years.
“We had a great season, but the standard has definitely been set and we just have to continue to do what we have been doing,” Gramoglia said.
