Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders (12) scrambles for yards during the second half against the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cleveland Browns (2-8) and Las Vegas Raiders (2-8) meet Sunday for a Week 12 game at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NFL odds around the Browns vs. Raiders odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Raiders lead the all-time series 18-10, including a 20-16 home victory last season. The Raiders have won 5 straight meetings against the Browns, with Cleveland's last win in the series coming at home in 2014. Cleveland's last win on the road against the Raiders came in 2012 in Oakland.

Cleveland turns the offense over to rookie QB Shedeur Sanders for his first NFL start. Fellow rookie QB Dillon Gabriel is unavailable due to a concussion. Sanders came on in a relief role in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, and he completed just 4-of-16 passes for 47 yards and 1 INT. QB Bailey Zappe was promoted from the practice squad to be the backup.

Cleveland has dropped 3 in a row since a 31-6 victory over the Miami Dolphins. On the road, the Browns are 0-5 SU, while also going 0-5 against the spread (ATS) as the Over has a 3-2 edge in those outings.

Las Vegas was humbled 33-16 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 11 as a 3.5-point underdog as the Over (48.5) cashed. QB Geno Smith threw for 238 yards and a TD with 1 INT in the MNF loss, hooking up with WR Tre Tucker for the score.

Browns at Raiders picks and predictions

Prediction

Raiders 18, Browns 12

Moneyline

The Raiders (-200) will cost you 2 times your potential return, and that's way too much risk for a 2-win team, even if a rookie Sanders is making his first NFL start. You can expect DE Maxx Crosby to make life very rough for Sanders. Of course, Cleveland has a guy named DE Myles Garrett, who had 4 sacks last week against QB Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, so the Browns know a thing or two about defense, too.

PASS, and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

Play the RAIDERS -4 (-110) at home, as they grab a third victory on the season.

Both of these teams are going to struggle on offense, looking really bad at times. In fact, this is the worst game of the weekend, and perhaps of the season.

The Browns are 0-5 ATS on the road this season, and they simply cannot be trusted.

Over/Under

UNDER 36 (-110) is such a low number, but with poor QB play, and tremendous pass rush on both sides, the points should be at a premium.

Cleveland has scored 17 or fewer points in 8 of 10 games to date. The Over is 4-0 in the past 4 games for the Browns, but that's because the defense allowed 27.3 PPG in the past 3 outings. The Raiders don't have the kind of offense to do that kind of damage.
