It was a day to forget for Iowa’s offense — until the very end. The Hawkeyes (7-4, 5-3 Big Ten Conference) had just seven points on the board entering the fourth quarter, and that was from a Kaden Wetjen punt return TD. When Michigan State (3-8, 0-8) grabbed a 17-7 advantage with 1:13 remaining in third, it looked like Iowa was destined for an unsightly stumble.

Mark Gronowski rallied the troops just in time. After a Stevens field goal early in the fourth brought Iowa within a touchdown, Gronowski hit Jacob Gill for a 13-yard score in the back corner of the north end zone with 1:29 left
