MACOMB, Ill. — The UND men's basketball team's cold shooting led to a loss Saturday against Coastal Carolina.
The Fighting Hawks shot less than 25 percent from the field in falling to Coastal Carolina 75-58 on the campus of Western Illinois.
UND dropped to 2-5, while Coastal Carolina improved to 4-2.
The Hawks led 6-0 and 15-11 early but a scoring drought of more than eight minutes led to a Coastal Carolina 12-0 run.
UND was led by Greyson Uelmen (13 points) and Eli King (12 points). King also grabbed a season-high nine rebounds, while Marley Curtis grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
UND was just 16-for-65 from the field while Coastal Carolina was 28-for-60. UND also shot less than 65 percent from the foul line.
