And their highest-paid player got his hands dirty, with Jonathan Huberdeau dropping his gloves to stick up for Matt Coronato after he was bloodied by a blatant hit-from-behind.

“I just had to have Matty’s back,” said Huberdeau, shrugging off that second-period scrap with Mikko Rantan
