BBC Breakfast aired an important message following a segment on farmers seeking medical advice from vets rather than the NHS , with some waiting too long to seek help.

A new initiative will train UK vets to identify several human health conditions, including cancer , in an effort to encourage those in agriculture to seek medical assistance if they have concerning symptoms. It is a joint venture between the Farming Community Network and Macmillan Cancer Support.
