Delhi declares restricted holiday on Nov 25 to mark Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Day
New Delhi, November 23, 2025: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday announced that the Delhi government has declared November 25 (Tuesday) as a Restricted Holiday to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru.
According to an official release, the decision aims to allow citizens to pay homage to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice, spiritual wisdom, and unwavering stand for humanity and religious freedom.
