SRINAGAR : Police in Budgam have attached property valued at around Rs 35 lakh, including a double-storey residential house and a Maruti A-Star car, belonging to an alleged drug peddler in Mazhama, Magam. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to officials, the seized assets belong to Hilal Ahmad Mir alias Hilal Galwan, son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, who is named in FIR No. 29/2020 under Sections 8, 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act registered at Police Station Magam.

Police said investigations confirmed that the accused had acquired the property using proceeds from narcotics trafficking. After completing legal formalities and verifying evidence, the seizure was executed under Section 68F of the NDPS Act.
