CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. ( KFVS /Gray News) - An investigation into alleged elder abuse at a Missouri facility led to charges against three staff members.
Jersey Stratman, 23, Jacquilynne Doyle, 23, and Martez Johnson, 48, are each charged with one count of felony harassment, according to online court records.
The women are accused of mistreating multiple residents at an unnamed facility in Cape Girardeau County between July 13, 2023, and February 19, 2024.
The probable cause statements say a state probe into the allegations found the staff members banged on a resident’s window at night, sprayed a resident with a water bottle and removed blankets and covers from the resident while they were sleeping.
The documents also allege the women took videos of the incidents and were laughing
