BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - As the weather gets colder, here’s an idea that might warm both your heart and your feet.

The American Red Cross is teaming up with PAC-MAN to celebrate the legendary game’s 45th anniversary.

From now until December 7th, anyone who donates blood will get a pair of PAC-MAN socks. There’s a PAC-MAN toy giveaway, too.

A spokesperson says the Red Cross is always trying to come with new ways to encourage people to donate.

With the holidays approaching and schedules getting busier, they’re trying to keep the importance of blood donation front of mind.
