Going to nursing school can be harder for incoming students after the results of the Department of Education and President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill."

According to the Association of American Universities , Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill," signed in July of this year, imposes a lifetime borrowing cap of $100,000 for graduate students and $200,000 for professional students.
Under the new rules, graduate students can borrow up to $20,500 a year, and professional students can borrow up to $50,000 a year.
