Anna Kournikova was just 14 years old when she burst onto the scene and made her WTA Tour debut in 1995. The Russian star quickly became one of the most well-known tennis players. She peaked at No. 8 in the singles rankings and No. 1 in doubles - but was forced to retire from professional tennis aged just 21 due to injuries.
