BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio —

The Butler County Sheriff's Office says an arrest has been made after a head-on collision sent one person to the hospital in serious condition.

It happened in the early morning hours on Thursday, when deputies and the Liberty Township Fire and Life Squad were dispatched to the 6400 block of State Route 747 for the crash. Advertisement

Deputies say a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound on SR 747 when it went left of center and struck a 2023 Honda Civic, which was traveling southbound.

The driver of the Civic, identified only as a 28-year-old woman, was transported to UC West Chester with serious injuries.
